Overview

ValveStar is a stand-alone application developed for both existing and potential customers of Leser company. The application has been designed to be useful for end customers as well as technical specialists possessing deep knowledge of the industry.

Key Features

ValveStar application allows describing and modeling any specific situation of a real customer. The application user can choose valves that are suitable for his/her actual needs and check them by different industrial standards like TRD421/TRD721, ASME, API520, etc. Therefore, the application helps to select the right valve from among 30,000 variants and upon selection it calculates the basic values like mass flow, discharge function, dynamic back pressure, pressure loss and, e.g., for different mediums (gas, steam, liquid).
The application is provided with a complete multilanguage support and a converter of physical units to be as much convenient for users from any country as possible. The reporting system has different output formats - from plain text to MS Office documents.
The main goal of this project has consisted in developing a friendly user interface and exact mathematical computations strictly according to the industry standards and Leser company’s guidelines.
