Overview

ReZconnect is a unique IVR-based solution that connects a reservation web portal with service providers without Internet access. The main system feature consists in a unique phone call center that connects a service provider or a vendor, who is inaccessible via the Internet and whose info is not contained in the local database, by phone in real time. By default, the service provider connection is by phone; however it can also include fax, fax and telephone, or web interface. The system provides hotel reservation functionality as well as the ability of price negotiating. The additional functionality for customers includes cancellations and price reviews.
The system allows making restaurant reservation, hotel booking, air flight reservation, car rental, cruise booking and other services online using a web-browser. It is used by the main reservation application only when the available information is not accessible via the local application database. It is used to request a remote service provider about reservation availability. The system receives reservation info and makes a call to a requested service provider, eventually receiving a request result. The service provider can enter a new price during the reservation request processing or can perform a simple conference for a client. Using that result the system notifies the requesting site.
The crucial part of the system is a bridge between a web site and TGATE™ telephony application that has a low-level access to the special hardware (PIKA-cards).
