Overview

RAS Connect is a small application developed by Softerra for one of our long-term customers wishing to help his website users have access to the modem pool. The Customer requested to create such a solution that would be simple and user-friendly for his clients who are not familiar with the Microsoft Dial-up connection or just do not want to configure it.
Using the RAS Connect application, users simply need to download it from the Customer's website and then launch it, that’s all. The application makes a connection and runs a web browser like IE or NN. In case of failure the application makes several attempts and should the failure be permanent, it displays an error message.
For the application size minimizing, Softerra used Visual C++ Studio for coding.
