Bemarnet Data Exchange Solution for Retail Network
Overview
Bemarnet is a retail network with over eighty shops all around Spain. Softerra has developed a client/server solution that enables automatic data transmission and synchronization between all the shops and company headquarters. This solution incorporates two applications: a Shop Application and a Headquarters Application.
The Shop Application operates in shops all around Spain automatically sending and receiving data every night (also allowing manual ‘send/receive’ options). The Headquarters Application is managed by the company server permanently connected to the Internet.
The application is capable of connecting to up to three Internet Service Providers to guarantee secure data transmission in case one of the ISP doesn't work. For ensuring stability and quick identification of transmission problems, the application can log all the events to a local computer as well as to a remote FTP Server.
